“ONGOING” Building cohesive and peaceful communities addressing the root causes of social problems and conflicts in the light of Islamic laws

The project, funded by Search for Common Ground, commenced in March 2025 and will continue until November 2025. It will focus on Herat provincial districts of 2, 4, 13, and Gozarah district. Proposing to strengthen communities, the initiative promotes local conflict resolution, enhances the skills of civil society employees, and encourages citizen involvement in decision-making processes. This effort will directly benefit 246 individuals, including 128 males and 118 females, while also impacting an additional 1,722 indirect beneficiaries. Through these activities, the project aspires to foster a more engaged and empowered community, ultimately contributing to improved governance and social cohesion in the region.
