“ONGOING” Economic Empowerment and Support Services for Vulnerable Families in Herat and Badghis Provinces

The project, funded by WPHF, focuses on IPDs and returnees at 6 locations of Herat and Badghis provinces. It has been started in April 2025 and will end in February 2026. With an emphasis on IDPs and returnees, it seeks to give disadvantaged families financial stability and economic empowerment. 450 people, 120 of whom are men and 330 of whom are women, will directly benefit from it, while 3,150 more will be indirectly impacted. By improving these families’ standard of living, the project hopes to promote communal well-being and resilience in the area.
